London, 5th September 2017 — UK specialist tax relief company, Catax, today announced it has entered into a joint venture with Leicester-based Fee Protection Insurance provider, Croner Taxwise, a subsidiary of the Peninsula Business Services Group.
Existing and future clients will benefit by having access to both firm’s highly regarded expertise and market leading services. Catax and Croner Taxwise are renowned in their fields and this agreement will see them work closely together, to ensure they are able to offer their services to a wider audience and, in turn, grow both businesses.
Catax, which specialises in Capital Allowances and Research & Development tax relief, has offices in Manchester and London. The firm has recovered more than £143m of tax relief for clients throughout the UK, working closely with accountants nationwide.
Croner Taxwise delivers its Fee Protection Insurance policies through a channel of more than 4,000 accountancy practices across the UK. Fee Protection Insurance covers accountancy firms and their clients for the additional costs that arise when a business is the subject of an HMRC enquiry, check, intervention or dispute.
