To anyone who is wondering what it’s like to be an employee at Catax, here’s a little insight about my experience.
I began my journey here a little over six months ago, which doesn’t seem that long, but I think that’s because I feel so at home here. I work in the Sales Support team as the Group Sales Operations Executive, which has been one of the most rewarding and enjoyable roles I have been in. Not necessarily because of my day to day tasks, but because of the culture Catax embodies here. I knew after only a few weeks that this company was just the right fit for me and my character, and I can easily say that I have felt quite welcomed from the start.
Like many people nowadays, I place a great emphasis on my happiness in the workplace and prioritise my wellbeing over anything. I believe that when a company truly values and supports you, this is clear to see in your performance.
When I decided to write this, I tried to think about what makes me wake up every day and be excited to come to work, and I believe one of the main reasons that came to mind was the values of the business and the people that I work with.
The culture, passion and collaboration between teams dominate the Catax offices. I can honestly say that I am free to be myself here and let my individuality and character shine through. Managers especially give me the freedom and support to work as part of the team as well as to have the opportunity to develop my skills and increase my responsibilities.
I regard myself as a realist. I decided a few years ago to make career moves that allow me to grow as a young professional and develop my experience while staying true to my priority of health and wellbeing. It’s safe to say that I have found that balance here at Catax and I’m excited to see what my future holds at this forward-thinking company.
